Cindy’s areas of practice are concentrated in Business Litigation; Commercial Collection, Post Judgment Enforcement, Creditors’ Rights in Bankruptcy, and Bankruptcy Litigation. She is a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee in the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division. She attended the Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law, achieving her J.D. in 1988.  At the University of Chicago she studied Behavioral Science and obtained a B.A. (with honors) in 1985.   She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1988 and was subsequently admitted to the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois in 1989; U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit in 1992; and to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1995.

Cindy is also involved with a number of professional organizations including the Illinois State Bar Association (Assembly Member 2013—; for the Commercial, Collections, Banking and Bankruptcy Section: Secretary 2013—; CLE Chair 2010-2013; CLE Coordinator 2008-2010); Illinois Creditors Bar Association (President, 2003-2005; Executive Vice-President, 2002-2003; Secretary, 1999-2000; Board Member, 1999—) and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
